WHO CAN PURCHASE ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES?

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The battery and atomizer activate the water based ingredients in the cartridge to produce water vapor that when inhaled ("taking a drag"), simulates smoke.

CAN I USE THEM ANYWHERE?

You should be able to "smoke" the electronic cigarette where ever traditional tobacco smoking is banned, but you should always ask first to avoid any problems.

Since there is no flame, no smoke (first or second hand), no tobacco, most venues do allow it's use.

HOW ARE THEY BETTER THAN TRADITIONAL TOBACCO SMOKING?

Electronic cigarettes do not contain the large amounts of various chemicals and tar which are harmful to you, nor do they produce second hand smoke, ash or odors. They can, upon the choice of the user, contain small amounts of nicotine which in a stand alone form have not been deemed carcinogenic, but is habit forming.

ARE THEY A QUIT SMOKING DEVICE?

No. No Electronic Cigarette manufacturer on this site promotes their products for this use. Each person who wishes or needs to quit smoking tobacco products chooses different methods and devices to achieve that goal. That replacing the intake of tobacco smoke, tar, chemicals in your lungs with the water based vapor of Electronic cigarettes would seem a benefit, it is in fact up to the individual users and their doctors to make that determination.

HOW LONG DOES EACH CARTRIDGE LAST:

It varies by the brand you choose. Blu states it's cartridges last between 80-100 puffs.

WHAT IS IN THE CARTRIDGE THAT PRODUCES THE VAPOR?

Blu cartridges contain water, propylene glycol, flavorings of your choice and nicotine (optional) at the level of your choosing. None of the ingredients are toxic to humans.

HOW LONG DO THE BATTERIES LAST BETWEEN CHARGES?

The Blu battery lasts for 2 cartridges on average. They provide 2 batteries in the starter kit, so while you are using one you can be re-charging the other.
